Ruins in Reverse playfully explores the curious relationship between archaeology and fiction. Artists Rä di Martino, Pablo Hare, José Carlos Martinat, Haroon Mirza, Eliana Otta and Amalia Pica display artworks that deal with a contemporary notion of ruins. In No More Stars (2011), for example, photographer Martino captured images of the abandoned Star Wars movie sets in the deserts of North Africa that today look like a paradoxical futuristic archaeological discovery.
