The Turner Prize-winner Anish Kapoor has a solo exhibition at the Martin-Gropius-Bau building, in Berlin. The show comprises around 70 artworks, including sculptures, objects and installations from 1988 to the present – half the works on display are new and some have been designed specially for the venue – and occupies the vast galleries on the ground floor of this historical building. The artist has used the entire space as part of his oeuvre, making use of the building’s architecture. For example, the special piece Symphony for a Beloved Sun (2013) was designed for the 600 square metre atrium. The show’s curator is Norman Rosenthal, a member of the Royal Academy.

Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin, until 24 November 2013.
