New Life Beginning

The Fine Art Society in London employed the Scottish collector James McIntosh Patrick for 50 years at their New Bond Street premises. His collection is now expected to be sold in June for around £2.5 million. It includes items by Christopher Dresser and William Morris. A change of life for 72-year-old Patrick is a move to live in Morocco, which will be made possible by his 2005 sale of Christopher Dresser items. Now included are items such as a chair by Frank Lloyd Wright. McIntosh Patrick played an important role in building up the Fine Art Society, where he was a director from 1966.
