Cildo Meireles, the artist whose art tackles ideological and economic systems as the foundation for ongoing critical interpretation, has a major exhibition at the Palacio de Velázquez. More than 100 works are on display in a range of media, from large sensory installations to small interventions on Coca-Cola bottles and sound sculptures. It is an opportunity to see pieces that never been shown before in Europe, such as Amerikkka (1991-2013), a floor made up of 20,000 wooden eggs above which hang 50,000 golden bullets.

Palacio de Velázquez, Madrid, until 29 September 2013.
